Mirrors.

I really like the colors on this photo and how the light was hitting the wall.  The blue came from the shade in the room and the pink light was a combination of the twilight and street light coming in from a window.  I also like the way the mirrors break up the shapes of the light.  I also like the softness from the high ISO setting (3200) and I think that added to the aesthetic of the image.  Feel free to tell me what you think, positive or negative.

I haven't had a post in a while.

I've been really busy the last few weeks with the start of a new semester and I recently started a new job, part time photographer at the Winona Daily News. These are just some photos I've taken over the last few weeks.

I shot this photo on a trip over to Rochester, MN.  It's just a little farm between Winona and Lewiston, MN.

I shot this photo out of a little whole in the screen of one of our windows.  I've shot this building before, but I really just like the way downtown looks from our windows.  Especially when the setting sun is hitting it.

This photo was shot between Rochester and Winona also and I just liked the balloon and the setting sun made it so beautiful.

I shot this photo at the same time that I shot the photo above.  I really liked the way the small tree looked with the setting sun on the other side.  Put together with the fence and tall grass around it I thought it was a good composition with some nice light.
