So I haven't been posting much lately... I guess I could attribute that to my summer class, work, and just being busy in general, but it's probably mostly because I've been lazy. I have been really busy though! You can see how busy I've been over at the Winona Daily News website. Be sure to check out all the galleries. We've had a heck of a couple of month this month with Steamboat Days and all the other festivals and events going on in Winona.
I also have a new website! You guys should go check that out while your at it (www.joeahlquist.zenfolio.com). It's the complete package including print ordering so if there have been any photos you like put in an order and it will be delivered right to your doorstep! Thanks in advance.
Anyways, this post is mostly about a senior session I had about a week ago with a very nice and photogenic young man named Jack. I'm rather pleased with the way the photos turned out. Oh and I also posted some photos of my dinner tonight, venison stir fry and a Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra India Pale Ale. It was quite delicious. In fact I believe I might have ate too much. Enjoy the photos!
P.S. If you are going to be a high school senior or know someone who will contact me to set a senior portrait shoot. Same goes for anyone out there getting engaged, know someone who's getting engaged, or plan on getting engaged as I would like to do some more engagement photo shoots.
Weekend At Home.
This last weekend I made the trip up to Bemidji, Minn., for the Kraus-Anderson Walleye Classic fishing tournament on Lake Bemidji. The tournament was on Saturday, so I got to spend some time with my family on Friday night and Saturday night after the tournament. Over the weekend I snapped some photos of my moms flower garden and I shot some photos of the horses too. I always try and take advantage of the beautiful "golden hour" light when I'm up in Bemidji because it always seems to be so beautiful. Enjoy the photos!

Twins, Maple Grove Minn., Alexandria Minn., Grandpa's Retirement, My brother, and no internet for a week.
The last couple of weeks have been pretty busy. Last week I went to a Twins game, stopped in Maple Grove, Minn. for a little bit, went to Alexandria to spend time with family and go to my grandpas retirement party, and we got a new internet provider, so I didn't have internet for a little bit. The Twins game was awesome, they won, which was really nice. Unfortunately I didn't bring my camera to the game, but I did have it everywhere else so enjoy!
