I was going to post some of these photos in the new post below, but I decided that they deserved their own post. So, here you go. On Saturday morning, June 29, I had the opportunity to cover the Tornado Trot 5K Run/Walk fundraiser event in Reading, Kan. The event started as a fundraiser to rebuild the town's city park after a tornado devastated the town in 2011, and it's turned into a fundraiser benefiting the whole town. The event has a "Wizard of Oz" theme to the whole thing, so a number of people were dressed in "Wizard of Oz" costumes. It was a fun and refreshing morning being outside in the beautiful weather. Here are some of my favorites from the day. Thanks for looking. |
