Studio Class

Hey all, this is some stuff from the studio from a couple of weeks ago.  I shot this for our "Shape and Contour" assignment.  I was playing off of the idea of the shape and contour of the guitar and how it evokes the sound of music just by its shape.  The first photo was my final photo and I titled it Americana Gothic.  Enjoy!

School started up again (hence the lack of posts)

So, since school started up again my time has been very divided lately, and I haven't had much time just to myself. But I am taking a studio photography class and my second assignment was light and dark.

The direction I chose to go with that was everyone has a light and dark side, and you can only go as far in life as you let yourself. So, I did a longish exposure and used strobes to make it appear like there were two of the same person in the frame.
