This last weekend was a very busy weekend for me. First off, my girlfriend and I left Winona to go to up to Bemidji for my cousins wedding, and to spend some much needed time at home. While I was home I got to take some senior portraits, and I shot some photos for my cousins wedding. It turned out to be a really nice weekend and very relaxing. Sometimes it's nice to just get away from the day to day life of college. Hope you enjoy the photos.
Yesterday I got to do a shoot with my friend Wyatt. He is a musician and is preparing to release a full length record. I hope you enjoy the photos! All of these were shot with a Nikon D90 and either a 35mm f1.8G DX or a 50mm 1.8D.
So don't forget I do photography for others as well as just for myself. Anyone out there in the Winona/Bemidji area who is interested in any sort of portraits, be it engagement sessions, family portraits, senior portraits, or just some photos to hang on the wall or give to someone, I can do it. If you live farther away we can work out a time that will work You can contact me by email or on facebook, my email is firstname.lastname@example.org You can check out some of my other work here at these sites: http://www.facebook.com/joeahlquistphotography, or http://www.flickr.com/photos/joeyahlquist.
Today my girlfriend and one of our friends went to an apple orchard. It was a lot of fun, not to mention really gorgeous. The weather was absolutely perfect too, not too hot, not too cold. The apples were delicious too. The place, Eckers, was really cool they had all kinds of stuff inside too like like caramel covered apples and apple wine, pretty much anything you can think of that has apples in it.
